  1. Hi Abel ! I really like your concept, all the research that you did, they are so interesting, I really wish that we don’t have to eat bugs everyday although some of it looks really cute and tasty….I like your art style too, the colors that you pick are very pretty. I personally prefer 1 and 10 but they are all nice, looking forward to see more of YUMEAT!

  2. I like the exploration, in your character head and both body designs. I like version 3, 5, and 10 head designs, I like body type 2 the most it suits the feel. But love this designs.

I kind of wanna see your bugs designs soon, but great progress.

  3. Nice to see some designs! I see that because you’re going with the canned bugs idea, I’m thinking that your character could be someone chubby. But first let’s talk about the context of your product. I don’t think it’s possible to set-up a post-apocalyptic world, environmentalism, and vegan-war all the while letting your product have some settle time so that the audience recognises it as a distinct product, not just one object in many. I suggest an easier set-up in which someone is obsessed with canned soup and has tried every single possible flavour out there and now he’s bored, and viola! Bug Campbell Soup, he loves it.

Or your character could be a bird, which has the natural diet of bugs! Convenient, canned bugs, they don’t need to go out and hunt.

Just think about simple settings/contexts that has to be set-up in 15 ish or less seconds, so that the product’s necessity is revealed very clearly! Cheers, absolutely unique idea!

    1. Yes I do agree that the war idea is a bit too complex to establish in only 30 second of animation, I have found some easier alternatives that I will post soon. I think you obsessed soup guy idea is very funny! And the bird is nice too, but now I’m quite far into my “futuristic” concept already and with the advices of alan and roger I hope I can make it work. Thanks a lot for your advices and opinions Danny! I really appreciated. :^D
